SocialChain: LITE
A LITE workshop to strengthen culture, encourage collaboration and boost creativity.
Back to Case StudiesThe Challenge
SocialChain is a powerhouse – fast-paced, ever-evolving, with a star-studded client list and global aspirations. On the surface, they had all the makings of a successful agency. But dig a little deeper, and you’d find a team that wanted more than just momentum – they wanted meaning.
This wasn’t about reaping the rewards of what already worked. It was about building something bigger:
- A culture that turns heads and wins hearts.
- A workplace that inspires and retains the best talent.
- A brand that stands out by being proud of what it stands for.
SocialChain’s ambition? To nurture a culture of creativity and collaboration. One that energises their people, differentiates their offer, and could become their rallying call.
The Approach
We kicked off with a LITE workshop – a day out of the office with the leadership team, designed to get under the skin of what makes SocialChain tick. After listening to Brave Bison (their parent group), we made sure that what we discussed aligned with the group-level Mission, Vision and Values.
Our approach, as always, was to remember that it’s the people who make it happen – that culture is a feeling; a reflection of your team and how they show up every day.
So, we went back to basics:
- Identify the building blocks of a truly creative and collaborative culture.
- Define and own a purpose that’s uniquely theirs – and can’t be copied.
- Understand how that purpose becomes their commercial driver:
– Attracting the right clients and talent
– Building resilience and pride in the business
– Uniting every team, decision and direction
From differing views (we wouldn’t expect any less from such a creative SLT) came a shared sense of belonging. From raw insights came a codified ‘North Star’ – one that puts their collaboration at the heart of everything they do.
The Result
The workshop sparked the start of something powerful:
- A renewed energy across the business
- The beginnings of a future-proofed culture
- A leadership team that understood each other and the goals of the business
- A recommendation to work on an implementation project to embed these foundations Group-wide
This was about owning their manifesto – and the feeling across the business that has remained from the start. This LITE project helped to unite a team of talented problem solvers who thrive on complexity and creativity – and inspire a collaborative culture that’s underpinned by having fun and celebrating every success.
A culture of creativity doesn’t just inspire ideas – it drives performance, pride and progress.
Now, this team are well on their way to strengthening their social chain.
